Useful Regular Expressions

Replace all occurences of Dimension table references with something slightly different: change the name part from SKEY to FKEY

query-replace-regexp "D_\\(.*\\)_SKEY" "D_\\1_FKEY" nil 

• get rid of [Group 4] ... -numbers in image names e.g. rename [Group 5]-G3S_4899_G3S_4909-11 images-7.jpg to G3S? _4899_G3S_4909.jpg

\[(.*)\]-(.*)-(.* images.*)\.(.*)    -->   \2.\4
